Pros

Walmart has various locations that make it somewhat easy to find a job that is close to home. Involved in community events

Cons

There seems to be a lot of personal favoritism inside of facilities. The policies that Walmart has can vary from facility to facility and in the facility that I am currently employed at the policies and guidelines are very vague. This leads to a lot of disciplinary action that is at the discretion of the supervisor which doesn't always result in fair treatment.

Pros

- A lot of opportunities for over time - Easy going co-workers - You'll always have something to do during your shift so time will fly by fast

Cons

- Management doesn't know who you are (even after working there for 6+ months) - There's so many people working at Walmart that you end up being a number - Most people are content with the position they have and don't care about the quality of work - Management is always changing and the positions are filled by college graduates with no management experience or skills
