Pros

Wal-Mart has always treated their employees fairly and have respected their comments or concerns. As long as you work hard, they will recognize it

Cons

Senior management at a new store still have much to learn, from the processes in the backroom to the operations at the frontend

Pros

Life-insurance. Advancement opportunities - wal-mart values promoting from within. the store manager at my store started as a cart-pusher

Cons

Most employees are part-time and not allowed to work more than 32 hours per week, ever. There is absolutely no over-time, which some may consider a pro.

Cons

Jobs may become boring Rude customers Lots of folding clothes (I work in apparel) Only allowed 3 call out days in a 6 month period
