Pros

Walmart was my first job. The only thing I enjoyed about it was meeting new people.

Cons

Work all weekends. Company acts as if you have no life away from work. Very small yearly raises for all the hard work you do. No incentitives. At first you are given plenty of hours, but later on, you can barely afford to pay your bills.

Pros

If this is an entry level job for you, it's a great place to learn skills and gain experience. Benefits are good if you are full-time.

Cons

Lots of folks are there to make good impressions to higher ups and in turn leads to egotistical behavior. If you can handle the pressures and mixed personalities it's a rewarding learning experience. Wages are okay at store level, promotions are mostly based on seniority/experience. Lots to do but limited resources.
