Pros

i work at wal-mart because of the staff and the benifits that are offer to the staff. I work very well with my supervisor and love being apart of the team.

Cons

there are alot of back stabbing there, sometimes you are not treated fair by some of the managers. not having a nice break area.

Pros

I am a college student and Walmart is a great place for me to make some money on the side. This is by no means a place to have a career as an hourly associate. To make a living you need to be at least an assistant manager (43k starting), or get promoted to a co-manager (60k starting) or a store manager (80k).

Cons

hard to get promoted to management and the expectations are insanely high.

Pros

salary, job experiences, dealing with corporate politics; i can say that everyday challenges and salary is my only driving force. i look forward to parlaying these experiences into another career.

Cons

corporate management inablity towards open communication, poor coprorate programs that are introduced st store level yet are doomed from the start, everybodies out for themselves mentality
