Pros

Stability of a big company. Structured training material available for online access on-site. Coworkers are generally very friendly to each other.

Cons

Training quality can vary widely between different stores. If you are in a short-staffed and busy store, you are basically doing the Pharm Tech job and losing valuable time getting the Pharmacy Intern experience and training. Online training material is not robust enough.

Pros

Walmart has comparable salaries compared to others in the industry. The interview and promotion processes are reasonably fair and impartial.

Cons

Management associates are often asked to work on their days off and it is impossible to get all of the work that is expected of you in your 3 day rotation.

Pros

Good Pay($12/hr), 40 hrs a week, Do what you want, put it on resume.

Cons

Very unorganized. No leadership to follow, basically had to learn everything by myself. The schedule was horrible, changing weekly, including many weekends and 2 times I had to work overnight. Nothing made sense and it was a waste of time for both me and Wal-Mart.
