Pros

Very eye opening if you’re trying to work in the sports field. Learning the importance of each critical element it takes to successfully operate events was very beneficial!

Cons

Could benefit from more camaraderie and communication. The departments don’t really communicate with one another so it seems as if it’s different companies working within one. This may be due to the high turnover rate of essential personnel.

Pros

- Pride of being a part of the Redskins - Being at games and events - Great part-time staff with lots of optimism and professionalism

Cons

- Highly disorganized with many requirements within the organization coming up less than last minute - A sense of great pessimism from managers and coordinators - Superiority complex amongst leaders; there is a lack of empathy for part-time staff or interns - Micro-management from the executive level; this leads to the last minute requirements - There are no systems in place that create predictability, continuity, and anticipation of requirements; no standard operating procedures or effective use of digital systems - Low pay and poor benefits; health care is more of a hassle and more expensive than purchasing from the free market; the only reason why some staff members are getting raises is because Maryland is increasing their minimum wage - Organization is unwilling to adapt new ideas and common sense approaches; taking the hard way that is expected to fail has been dubbed “The Redskins Way” amongst staff

Pros

the sales team is fun and they keep you going, all day all night sports talk and access to all of the games and free tickets for family and friends

Cons

pay, the days sometimes seem endless when you're on the phone all day. high pressure to hit team sales goals when others are slacking.
