      You get respect for what you do. No big pressure on profit margins Friendly environment. Good benefits. Small town. Work on building new unique stuff.

      Cons

      Lousy pay. Publish or die environment. Limited funding. Lots and lots of projects, many of which never get fully completed. Lack of priorities, work instructions from multiple people.

      very flexible hours for a student. Great work experience for those that don't have any. Direct manager encourages learning and developing your skills.

      Cons

      Very loosely defined job description. Not exactly what you'll experience in the professional world at a full time job. Upper management doesn't respect student work.
