Thank you for your feedback on your experience working at Wave. We are pleased to hear that you value our benefits strategy. As you know, we recently rolled out a number of trainings and one of the areas we focused on (in addition to individual development) is development for leaders and managers. While many managers are already well-versed in areas such as communication, collaboration and employee development, we recognize there may be room for improvement and/or reinforcement. We also welcome a conversation on this topic and encourage you to reach out to your HR Business Partner or leadership team to discuss in more detail so that we may address any individual concerns. Thanks again for your feedback!

Enormous growth opportunities

Pros

I joined Wave about 4-5 months ago, and I was blown away but the supportive, collegial, and scientifically rigorous environment. This is a company that truly keeps patients and families front and center. Decisions are constantly tested by what is best for the communities we want to serve. Senior management is accessible (they sit at one long table in our open floor plan), passionate and encourages new ideas. Senior leaders in the departments have the same approach. And the scientific advancement potential with the PRISM platform is huge. I feel like I’ve learned more and grown more here in a few months than I did in years in former jobs. Also great perks here - flexibility to work from home or different offices, fully covered medical premium, competitive compensation, free catered lunch every day, etc. I am so happy I found this company!

Cons

The company is spaced between two offices - one in Cambridge and one in Lexington. I would prefer to all be in one location. But the company makes it easy to get between locations and encourages face to face meetings when possible - which helps us not feel like separate offices.

Pros

I recently joined Wave from another biotech and my experience thus far has been great. Lots of support from management who are very visible in the organization and the culture supports collaboration, teamwork and innovation. The science and work are compelling and the benefits are excellent and include free daily catered lunch for all employees, free medical insurance, free parking in both locations and an open time vacation policy.

Cons

I haven't been able to identify any yet!
