This employer does not encourage growth within the company even though they tell you so during your initial interview. There's so many employees there and you would expect a very down to earth environment but upper management does not allow interaction between employees or friendships. I was told on multiple occasions that we could not make friends on the team because it wasn't professional. Another downfall is that upper management does not know how to "manage". Not sure when companies will realize that just because someone has worked there for years it doesn't mean they need to be a manager. Managers need to have people skills and encourage employees to grow. Wayfair has a lot to learn in regards to treating their employees right. I know one team has had multiple issues with a manager for YEARS and she's still employed on that team.
