PTO, in-office perks, location, pay; the company was run really well up until the major layoffs of 2022; it was all downhill from there
Cons
extremely tense across the board, it's very "dog eat dog"; you only get promoted if all of your peers agree, which means people will schmooze to get promoted and then immediately turn nasty. the company strategy ATM is to rely on entry level employees to execute, with management being the first to go during the regular layoffs (silent and public). google the unhinged email sent by niraj shah in dec 2023. identified many processes that were costing the company hundreds of thousands of dollars, and was shut down, because the existence of those processes protected certain people.
