Great People, High Stress/Low Pay

Pros

I loved the community at Waystone. The staff were always supportive and easy to talk to.

Cons

The pay is very low for how stressful the job is. ABA jobs do similar things and pay $25-$30 an hour while we got paid $19 an hour here and only a .25 raise in the fiscal year. If someone left, there were times where you would be asked to do double your workload. I'd just be cautious.

Turnover in mid-level leadership, lack of understanding from past direct manager about health concerns and work-life balance during the pandemic led to my departure
