Pros

WeWork is an awesome place to work. The company is fast and is really growing. The growth rate will drive you to succeed within the company.

Cons

WeWork does not operate like the model it preaches. There is a weird hierarchy and dynamic that makes everyone feel stuck. Closed doors when we shouldn't have any offices.

Pros

Where do I begin! WeWork is an amazing place to work and grow as an individual. Not only have I gained so much experience in the short amount of time I've been here but I enjoy all the perks of being in this awesome company. To list a few..... -happy hours and weekly events. Recently we had a cookie and ice cream bar just because it was Monday! -atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming . People are taken aback by how amazing the design and layout of are spaces are. It does not look like your typical office. -amenities from beer on tap, coffee, video games (N64 seriously), recording studio, and so much more. I am constantly bragging about how cool my job is. Sometimes people don't believe me because it sounds so surreal. -we get to enjoy the benefits offer like discounts on retailers such as Uber, NYSC, Bowlmor Lanes, Gansevoort hotels, to name a few. I can go on and on about how cool this company is but seriously take my word for it, everyone who is here loves it. For those who have not been happy here at WeWork need to remember we are still fairly new and growing to be better everyday. Sure it may be a little unstructured but coming from the corporate world this place makes up . I've had my days where I've felt fed up and frustrated but who hasn't. I'm glad I stuck it out because I've only been here for 6 months but I have felt so valued here by my peers and the members I work for. This place is going to be the next "Google" office community base co-working spaces and more! I'm going to stick around when it blows up with success.

Cons

1. Ok it's not your typical 9-6 job. There will be some days where you may have to stay a little later. So if you are expecting to leave Bright Side: Most of the time you need to stay a bit later is to host great events. So you're technically working but you can also mingle with great people and have a few drinks (not too many). Also WeWork takes care of it's employees by providing dinner, hosting amazing parties and events (Summer camp, Halloween, & Winter Retreat), and the best part is working with so many cool people. We're all on the same boat but we all have a great time here. 2. It's not for the faint of heart. Be ready to be challenged. Sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming. There are some days that are crazy busy. We provide many services to many members so it can get hectic. Bright Side: This job has pushed me beyond the limits I didn't know I could handle. It's kind of like living in a faced-paced city like New York, "if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere." In saying that, WeWork allows you to take ownership. We are growing so rapidly, employees are promoted within 3 months. You are also encouraged to "Do What You Love" and "Never Settle". Being transparent and voicing your opinion is highly encouraged.

Pros

Great friends, lots of drinking and laughing and fun. The actual offices are nice and well designed. Kegs.

Cons

Management has no idea what they are doing. They're in desperate need of firing and rehiring all C levels, including the CEO. The other cofounder is nice, but is a total pushover and let horrible management ruin his company. It's sad, really. Adam Neumann (CEO) is the most manipulative and deceptive people I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. Each role has very little if any direction, everything changes on a weekly basis, and nobody is praised for good work -- just pushed harder and harder the next time.
