Pros

My colleagues are some of the brightest and hard working people I've ever encountered. Also helps that they're social and fun. I feel lucky to not only be proud of the products and services we're creating & providing, but also be able to engage with such a smart & motivated group of people. You MUST be a self starter to thrive in the wework environment.

Cons

There is segregation among the different departments. Need to work on communication and collaborating with one another more. Also, coffee could be better...

Pros

Overall a very easy, low-stress job, if you don't mind the 8-5 corporate vibe. Work you can leave at work and not think about on the weekends. Market Area Team/Management culture very supportive and chill - employee first mindset, understanding. Company culture in terms of benefits very employee first-- generous sick + PTO leave, summer half fridays

Cons

Not a ton of room for growth in this specific job position-- have to wait for people above you to leave/quit to be able to be promoted. As a large-scale international company sometimes initiatives/business decisions that we had to fulfill felt out of touch with what made sense for our actual office. It's ultimately a pretty admin heavy, receptionist-adjacent job.

Pros

Great maternity/paternity leave. 100% paid and 4 months of leave, with option for 1 additional month unpaid. A lot of autonomy in the role, 85-90% of the day, your not really doing much. Sometimes, straight chillin. Cool environment and sometimes cool members.

Cons

Terrible place for growth. If you are a Community Lead, the next role up is a Senior CL and there's only 1 per cluster. After becoming a Senior CL, there's a Community Manager role and there's only about 4-6 per region. A lot of the CM's have been with the company for 5 plus years, so good luck on waiting for one to leave in order to move up. You are not promoted based on how much or how well you do, it's literally dependent on someone above you vacating their role.
