Pros
Not being at HQ because you can wander from building to building and most people avoided coming in
Cons
Too many to list. The company has a terrible culture with terrible leadership. The salary is poor and the experience is awful if you are a woman or a person of color. The sexisim runs rampant and it's barely improved under Softbank. I was on a team where every person of color and woman was let go. It's a company where a lot of older employees who are pretty incompetent stick around and don't get fired because of relationships with senior staff. If you get stuck managing some of these people god help you. They have the attitude of beggars who used to think they were becoming billionaires. For a coampny with 14K people when I joined, hiring, firing, promotions were arbitrary. AT one point when I wanted to hire a black woman on my team I was told that she didn't appear friendly enough. I could go on with the stories. It's a sad sop of a company and will most likely be folded into a larger real estate portfolio in three to four years.
