There is no career path at this company and basically no room for growth. Management does not listen and most benefits have been taken away. Not a place to stay long term.

The company has immense potential. However, the primary roadblock it faces is the nepotism within the leadership team. Numerous individuals hold positions in the company solely due to their friendships with the CEO. Employees at the senior manager level receive annual promotions despite having subpar people management skills. The leadership team lacks the ability to effectively guide and mentor their direct reports. For instance, teams like B&M are not goal-oriented and tend to spend money unnecessarily. But the manager gets promoted to Sr. Director over couple of years by doing absolutely nothing. There is no growth in community management due to the lack of guidance from the leadership who are a bunch of late 20 year olds who have absolutely no idea about people management. Within WW, a cult-like atmosphere exists where hardworking employees are not rewarded, while those who meet only the bare minimum standards are promoted every 12 to 18 months. This situation undermines the potential growth and success of WeWork India.
