Pros

-Your lifestyle is fun- you drink often and a lot for free, you rub shoulders with important people, and you are able to continue the fratty lifestyle beyond college -Some of the people that work here are gems. Really interesting, smart, wonderful colleagues. -Looks good on you resume, especially with the recent press the company has gotten.

Cons

-If you are not willing to take WeWork on as your religion, your social life, your profession, your everyday philosophy, then stay away. 12 hour work days, weekends on call, constant changes in job description that are expected to be swallowed without comment. -The politics. Nepotism is rampant and shocking management-styles and behaviors are accepted because of it. I would go as far to call it "cultish". If you're in, you're in, and if you're out you will still work endlessly with little to no acknowledgement or benefit. -"Meetings" are actually a chance for the executive team to tout egos and perform. As an employee, you smile and clap, but don't dare speak up. -Money is the key. If you can make the company lots of money, to the point where you might feel like you are selling a product that doesn't deliver, you will do fine. If not, you will get low-ratings and no bonus, even if you are doing the job you thought you had signed up for.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST

Pros

Constant, forced social interaction with small business owners might lead to another job and I could gtfo of here.

Cons

Upper-management is completely incompetent and simply trying to hang on until the company IPOs. Career-paths are strongly linked to choice of religious beliefs. We sell people on spaces filled with Urban Outfitters discount bin decorations, and the empty promise of WeWork's favorite marketing gimic: "community." No matter how hard you work or how well the company does you'll never see more money, or even a thank you. Haven't gained a single marketable job skill. Obvious and pathetic that they've resorted to posting fake reviews here instead of fixing anything, though it perfectly sums up the entire "operation."

Please don't believe the hype

Pros

Good benefits, but not anything you can't get from similar companies of similar size.

Cons

Where should I begin? Lets start with the fact that we are highly understaffed underpaid and overworked. Managements response to this is essentially "lets just work better". This response comes from a company valued at over 18 billion yet refuses to employ people as necessary. They rather fill us with a bunch of fluff. To me personally the worst part is how they have people coming on here and talking up the company instead of calling it like it is, that it's in some serious need of restructuring. PLEASE don't believe the hype. Oh and forget about any sort of pay raise or promotions unless your one of the favorites. Better make friends quick if you want to move up because it sure won't be based on your work ethic.
