Pros

Any positive thing about working at this company is eclipsed by the CEO's ego. Was asked to do many things that were bordering on illegal/unethical at my time here.

Cons

Literally every negative thing that has been said in past reviews is true. I was so excited when I got hired because I thought this could be a place that I could stay with for years - how wrong I was. Sure, the offices are gorgeous, but aesthetics can only go so far when you are dying inside.

Pros

It sounds sexy on the resume. A lot of people also bring dogs into work which is great. There is cereal in the morning.

Cons

Executive team is not authentic at all. They say they believe in hard work and good culture but not true. If you are related to an executive, you will be paid a lot even if you are not qualified, otherewise you are below market. If you are an executive, you get special benefits other people don't even though we're supposed to be "family" and "together". Work life balance is not existent, you are expected to be on call if not in the office. When an executive was asked about giving employees heads up about headquarters changing because employees changed their childcare and made life decisions based on it, the executive said then next time don't plan your life based on it. Our recruiting website says we provide world class benefits which is a joke and new hires should ask about it.

Pros

I love the junior level employees. They are all amazing intelligent people. Everyone looks out for each other and has amazing ideas and pitches. I also enjoyed laughing at the CEO saying the same nonsense every time he forces us to sit and listen to how amazing he is.

Cons

I have worked for many innovative "cool" companies before this one so I was not impressed with the trendy people and free beer. Yes, a job is what you do to make a living, and perhaps it feels a little more comfortable with superfluous amenities such as in a fancy office with lemon water and 30-thousand dollar couches. That being said, all of these qualities mean nothing. You will be working long hours with no overtime or appreciation. If you are not in some way related to the narcissistic CEO, forget about it. You can work until your exhausted, sick and miserable but no one will notice or care. People are disposable here, and it's thrown under the rug when they are mistreated or let go for no reason other than not sucking up to higher management. The company also doesn't do any real interesting work but you forget that because you become brainwashed by the frat bro culture. It's a real estate company, no different from any other commercial real estate company other than the fluffy bs they feed you. It isn't changing the world or peoples lives, it's simply allowing for people to rent office spaces. How amazing... I think not.
