Pros

Some of the old timers in the plant are great competent people. A few have moved up in ranks over the years and still remember what was like to be in the trenches so they support project needs as much as possible.

Cons

There are many who have been promoted to management level that are not qualified. Certain departments are full of young kids that lack experience and a thorough understanding of the commodities they are working with, so there is a lot of babysitting required. There is no accountability in some departments so program management ends up having to spend time cleaning up messes. If you enjoy having a life outside of work, then this is not the place for you.
