Chaos Reigns

Pros

- Easy to stand out if you are competent. - EV charging industry is growing rapidly.

Cons

- Charging division was just purchased by a private equity firm and is breaking off from the mother company. DRASTIC changes are needed for the company to be successful as an independent entity. - Managers are more concerned with appeasing the VP of engineering than making sound decisions. - Terrible communication between different projects and engineering groups. Teams make the same mistakes over and over again and do not share lessons learned or implement corrective actions. - Very top-heavy organization. Many managers and project leaders asking for work from the same small pool of engineers. Leads to overworked engineering department with conflicting priorities. - 90% of engineers are working frantically to put out fires caused by rushing through development early in the projects.
