Pros

Most of my coworkers at this location were generally pleasant and they were flexible with my days seeing as I was working another job as well. Also kept me busy so the day never really dragged on.

Cons

A lot of the work was pretty gross and laborious. Scrubbing shelving units that hadn't been touched in more than half a year growing with... things and old vegetation. Shucking crates of corn for several hours straight, cleaning the cooler, etc. Essentially to make in a day less than what I made in my teen years mowing lawns. They also hassled me over footwear because I wasn't willing to drop cash on a pair of "shoes for crews" when I already wore 8in duty boots designed to keep me from slipping on ice and oil (for my other job) I'd already seen people slipping in their shoes and refused to endanger myself to cover their behinds.

Pros

Discounts on certain grocery items. Mostly friendly coworkers. 2 - 10 min. paid breaks if schedule 8+ hours. $9.00 min. to start company-wide regardless of position. Thorough training process for new hires. Acknowledgement when doing something the right way from management.

Cons

Senior management lacks in communication among each other (i.e. "I won't do it without ___'s approval even though I'm a manager and I've been here ____ years."). Strict dress policy and preparation guidelines for each department. Small room for advancement. Seniority rules here (if you've been here longer, you're getting more hours).
