Pros

pay to outsiders in the compay is very good if from within the company then it's very bad but the hourly co workers are very nice

Cons

pay to the insiders, upper management treats everyone beneath them like garbage and they do speak to its so fake, office is in sunbury and everyone who comes in a store thinks there uh hum doesn't stink, they move people without consideration demote people with a snap of a finger and terminate as well, the nastier you are to the hourly people and vendors they look at you more favorably

Pros

Good employees, good products, good reputation among with a fairly strong emotional attachment among customers. A large scale operation and big company, but with a local feel and presence. They try to buy local products when in season.

Cons

Stuck in the past as far as technology. Their operations are so low tech, it's painful. They could do so much better if they implemented more high-tech tools for everyday tasks. Advancement within each store is kind of silly as well. They hire from within, which is kind of nice, but that means managers never have any formal managerial training or any sort of degree. If you perform well at your task as produce department manager, you will do good as a store manager. That is their rationale.
