      Don’t bother if you’re not on the Investment platform

      Pros

      Most of the people care about the work and there are a few select people working to maintain what was good about the culture.

      Cons

      Little to no respect for those outside of the Investment platform. I’d even go so far as to say that leadership has gone out of their way to disrespect those on the ground doing the work that enables investors to do their jobs.

      Wellington seems to have lost its way.

      Pros

      Profitable company that is looking to expand its product offerings. It is not staying still and hoping the industry doesn't change.

      Cons

      The firm insists it is profitable and it looking to focus the business on newer more profitable lines of business. But, it looks like they are randomly laying off senior people, who most likely are the costliest. This is the BCG playbook. Lay off the expensive people and hire new, cheaper people. Along the way, the culture is changed if not lost. This is exactly what has been happening -- more politics less productivity. Its a shame.

      Great place to learn for early career Most colleagues are very nice, intelligent people Hard work is generally rewarded Retirement benefits are unbeatable

      Awful transparency and lack of communication from senior management, especially new ceo Limited insight into how promotions work and where you stand Changing culture - 3+ cycles of layoffs in the last year as a result of poor financial performance since 2022 Heavy reliance on offshore talent in IT and tricky work life balance as a result Tech talent compensation below industry
