Pros

Some of the most intelligent people I have ever met work here ... really, really great people with tons of potential. Safe, comfortable environment to work in...good benefits (health insurance, 401K, etc.)

Cons

Culture was so much stronger when I started in the late 90's. The company grew really large in a short amount of time. Pay increases were not fantastic based on hours worked (and merit), in my opinion.

Portfolio Managers truly provide Alpha. Business folks very approachable and explain things/workflows with real examples CEO publishes thoughtful notes to the entire firm but IT department doesn’t take them seriously

Cons

IT is lacking in good people, too much reliance on Offshore contractors who are not 100% committed and don’t deliver quality work Managers are horrible and hold too many meetings. In fact there are so many meetings that people have to login from home every night of the week and most weekends Very flat structure, no career growth. Expect to be stuck in your job title for ages
