Pros

Some excellent and very helpful people work at Wells Fargo at the lower levels. The will go out of their way to help you understand what needs to be done. In fact I got a call from one of them telling me a bit about what had been happening in the background. Told me not to take it too hard as it probably was just some budgetary thing from on high.

Cons

Somewhat squirrelly and arbitrary I was told by a couple of others who were nice enough to talk with me. They tend to treat people as plug in widgets with no concern for employee morale. They tend to hire and fire, especially contractors without thinking about the people. Rarely if ever give a reason for letting someone go. Almost no communication up and down the food chain. You can get moved from one group to another and not know it until later. Team leads are not told much about what the reasons are for the actions of upper management and often are not even told when a team member is being released.

Pros

There are bonuses, and eventually the job gets easy. If you stay there long enough and you're competent, you're eventually going to move up.

Cons

They push you to sell stuff all the time, it actually turns into a stressful environment at times. There is also a lot of drama, and the teller job can get very boring. Their way of customer service and what they make you do is stupid and can be stressful.
