Benefits are solid, promotion from within is evident. Good place to hide out if you're looking for that kind of thing

The merger with Wachovia has made it tough on employees and Wachovia customers. Too focused on checking account units, every employee is pressured to bring in their quota consistently. Customer service is lacking,

nice benifits including PTO well established company

Cons

You think you will have oppurtunity to grow but you wont Your hard work is never recognized sales pressure is horrible to many politics managers dont care, they only care about themselves and to much favortism you have to be dishonest and ruthless person to survive they will call you to come into work if you are on vacation all your peers are unhappy

Some former Wachovia people are still there

Cons

It's now Wells Fargo- generally speaking, legacy Wells people are not as experienced or smart and are therefore not paid well. It will be a sad day when Wells starts to pay legacy Wachovia people like Wells employees, or to up the pay of incompetent legacy Wells people.
