Pros

Clean working environment, for a fast food restaurant. Probably one of the better quality food of the fast food chains as food is prepared fresh daily and any over cooked food or food that has been sitting out too long will be thrown out. Most of the people who work there were friendly as well. They have scholarships that you can apply for which is very nice. Also they have monthly recogniztion award for employee of the month. You also get a discount on food.

Cons

Sometimes we were understaffed which would result in customer complaints about long wait times for food as everything is backed up.

Pros

Wendy's overall procedures and guidelines when followed are simple, straightforward and make for a good working environment. Management does receive regular raises and benefits are equal to most any other company around.

Cons

The Wendy's I am currently at has a lot of morale issues between crew and management. There are way too many friendships between crew and management which causes chaos for the store operation. The employees rarely receive raises which makes it hard to hold onto experienced workers.

Pros

Working with the GMs is great. If you are lucky enough to be an hourly employee (not shift leader), you will have a great time. My pay was great for the experience I had. Owners are approachable when present. They will hire anyone for any level (except GM). Owners pay for more education as it relates to Wendys (Wendys' sponsored training classes, ServSafe).

Cons

No advancement, owners and district manager are not on same level (right hand does not know what left hand is doing). Fear the days/time that the owners and/or DM arrives, they can say nothing positive, DM rules with an "iron fist". Write-ups are given without much investigation. There is no consistency between stores, each store has its own set of rules- like they are run by completely different entities. A 1% raise was useless ($9 a month, really, are you serious?!) . As a salaried manager, you are forced to work in 1 of 3 stores, without preference, and even then youa re not guaranteed to work there more than a week at a time. High management turn-over rate, >200% turnover rate for hourly employees (at least 2 new employees per week).
