I have worked for WFS for 5 years in two different positions. During that time I have had amazing supervisors and have felt heard when there were issues, including the need for pay increases. Unfortunately, US mental healthcare is ridiculously underfunded so any non-profit will struggle with salary competition from for-profits or large organizations like UPMC.

Cons

Salary is the only con of this organization.

Wesley Family Services is a Non-profit organization and if you are looking to pay off student loans you may have the ability to apply for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness. They also provide student loan assistance and may help you reach licensing for free. I had a great team and enjoyed working within a school district.

Cons

This company seems to be understaffed in many areas When working in the school you will have the holidays, weekends, and summer off, but they will allow for 6 days of pto Communication can be improved upon
