Pros

It was a great place to work before the new Leadership roles

Cons

Student Centric- that is hilarious. It is all about money. It is a puppy mill running hundreds of students every 10 weeks into the program. The NCLEX pass rates were much better prior to new Leadership. They made so many changes and cuts. The new leadership is composed of narcissistic personalities. It is a clique on campus since the new leadership. If you do not kiss A** then you will be unappreciated and you will run into difficulties when it comes to growth. They choose who to promote and who to let go based on A** kissing. Not about performance. That’s for sure!

Pros

The pros: used to be able to work autonomously; positively impact student lives.

Cons

Lots of micromanaging, nepotism, unfair course assignments, mistreatment of certain groups, retaliation.

Pros

You have a job, you think you're in education, you think you're doing something great. They are student-centric to the extent that they will help students who are keeping up NCLEX scores.

Cons

Pay - if you calculate how much you work and what you're making, half your salary. Deans struggle with mental health because they are so rattled and overworked. Nursing pay starts at well over six figures but they'll lowball you so ask for at least 150K without graduate work. You will never have time off (not even while sick). Work life balance doesn't exist and people are scared to do more than wait until a major life event happens. Most faculty have not taken vacation in a decade. Other educational systems know it's for-profit and exploitive so it doesn't help that much on a resume. No time to apply outside. I can't with good conscience recommend this company to anyone. You'll need to use your hospital (second job) for healthcare and retirement.
