Pros

Good pay and benefits for the position Great benefits (20 vacation days, 12 sick days, and holidays even for new staff) Somewhat flexible schedule

Cons

Cannot bill overtime even if you have things you still need to finish Little room for growth unless you have an advanced degree Offices don't have much community except within immediate co-workers

Pros

The benefits package is one of the best.

Cons

Raises only happen once a year, also the severance package is only 1 week. You get a 2nd week of you sign a contract saying you wont sue them.

Pros

They have excellent employee benefits and compensations. Great collaborative relationship across programs with opportunity to collaborate on projects and proposals.

Cons

Need to hold some in upper management within programs more accountable for bringing in funding. Also need to make sure that funds for proposal development is accessible to all working on proposals so that project funds are not spent trying to generate more funding.
