      Pros

      You can work as many hours as you want, as long as you are being productive. The same goes for Over Time (OT). The minimum they ask of you is 20-25 hrs

      Cons

      You may get many people to participate in a longitudinal study thinking they are now yours to work, ensuring hours for the next year, alas you have to share your participants with fellow FI's who did not get many to participate during screening process. The company puts a lot of pressure on FI's to complete yearly interviews, starting from 11 month anniversary date till when you can get them done. Often feel like I am stalking Selected Persons (SP), even bordering on harrassment.

      Pros

      The pay is decent, the job is based working at home which makes the job flexible, and they pay for training.

      Cons

      Management is unclear. I worked here for quite a while and then was let go because Westat ran out of budget funding. They will get you to sign on by making it sound like you will make really good money and will receive training, but they fail to mention that most projects only last for a few months. The company was very inefficient also with how they conducted the research and gained data, data systems would often have troubles.
