Pros

The people are genuinely down to earth. I came from big bank (same position) and the people are a breath of fresh air to work with. The culture is supportive, and employees are treated with respect for the most part.

Cons

As many others have stated, the compensation is below market compared to similar roles at peer companies. I can from a big bank (same role, same position) and the pay here at Western Alliance bank is 20% less. While the work environment is positive, pay and overall financial incentives do not fully reflect the level of responsibility or effort required.

The team and people are awesome. Fully remote working is also a plus.

Cons

The pay is below industry standard for the role. They compare themselves to big bank but do no pay anywhere near big bank wages.
