Updating a previous review I posted to say that I’ve begun a career as a driver trainer at western express and I strongly encourage everyone who is willing to work hard and do their job well to do the same. My DM Alec in Nashville is awesome and always keeps me rolling. I make great money as a first year driver and have a company that doesn’t micromanage. I do my job well and they allow me to do that.

Great Miles and Pro-Driver DMs

I've been with WesternExpress for over a year and I've never had an issue with miles. In most cases I've received a preplan before I deliveree my current load. As a driver trainer I stress to trainees the importance of building trust with their DMs...and by trust I mean no DOT violations...on time deliveries...no claims or moving violations.. avoiding those issues builds trust with the company and DMs and in return keeps the miles coming for driver's.

Cons

There are no cons when you take care of business as a driver. Avoid violations and moving infractions and you'll have a very successful career here at WesternExpress.

Since day 1 my DM and I have been working really good with each other. We never had an argument and we take care of each other.

Cons

Equipment needs to be updated and they are working on that as we speak.
