Pros

With regional OTR you get guaranteed 4 loads or 1600 miles = $800 5 loads or 1800 miles = $1000 6 loads or 2000 miles = $1200

Cons

Breakdown and layover is extremely low $35 a day. You can’t make money if you are not rolling but It is frustrating truck breakdown happening so often.

Pros

Will hire fresh out of school which is great to get immediate experience.

Cons

They are a very cheap company. Most of the time they wont pay to get things done properly which leaves the headache on the driver. You can run all week and still only make $900, plus it seems like no one that works for WE is on the drivers side which makes the company morale terrible.

Pros

It’s a job, and you receive money.

Cons

My “trainer” broke federal law under my logbook, company dehumanized me, and pretty much said because I was new I didn’t matter. I had to fight tooth and nail to be brought back to terminal AFTER HE BROKE THE LAW IN MY NAME!
