The Spanish department is very close-knit and provides a very comfortable working environment. These is always staff support available and unlimited access to resources for professional growth.

Cons

Our compensation package is smaller than that of other Michigan public universities. Along that line, our benefits are not up to the level they are at in other similar public universities in Michigan.

I really cannot say anything bad about working for western michigan university because they employee students for simple positions and it gives us a chance to make money.
