      Holidays, Stat Pay, Pay was decent

      Cons

      Management are liars, good people are fired to cover managements butts, they break laws and codes and lie to cover it up, nobody is ever held accountable for the unsavoury crap management does

      Pros

      The pay and compensation and employee profit are quite high for an entry-level position.

      Cons

      As a black male with a Bachelors's and Master's in Engineering, I had very minimal mentorship, onboarding program and commitment to my growth. Almost as if management o the Kenora mill did not know how to address someone of my color. The mills are far away from civilization hence you tend to lose touch with diversity as they are dominated by white blue-collared men who only care for the end goal "Get products out as fast as possible". For entry-level positions, I'd suggest you stay away but then again it is up to you.

      Safety is clearly the priority, without compromise. People matter - inclusiveness is a core value. Internal leadership development programs are there for those who demonstrate the ability, desire and work ethic.

      Cons

      Retirements are real and building capacity doesn't happen overnight.
