      Draconian, overbearing, brutal leadership

      Pros

      If you do not work in IT WB is probably a fair to moderate place to work. There where some nice rewards while the company was in Corpus Christi such as tickets to Whataburger field.

      Cons

      Long hours and high pressure, c-level leadership hired an autocratic despot for one of the director in IS/IT who made my life and others a living hell. Lots of turnover in IT leadership as it is apparently not a great place to work for them either.

      Great Burger, Not a Great Company

      Pros

      If you're passionate about the quick service restaurant industry, then this is a great place to work with one caveat - stay in restaurant operations.

      Cons

      The corporate office has a very different culture than the restaurant operations. This review is from the corporate office perspective. They have worked hard in an attempt to paint a picture of the culture by defining a set of values, guiding principles and a lofty vision statement - Great Company, Great Burger. However, from my experience, it seems their actions and processes do not align with those words. The culture is reminiscent of the Orwell book 1984 - lots of "doublethink", groupthink and leadership by intimidation and/or exercise of power/authority.

      Pros

      Salary and Hourly are the best for fast-food companies Advancement for those who choose to move up in the company Better benefits then other companies offer

      Cons

      Needs work on HR situations. All investigations from HR dept are done on "hear-say" instead of facts. Watch out for being a target if they want to terminate you frmo company they WILL come up with a way.
