Pros

Great leadership training under pressure(Unit pending, of course). Decent pay. As you are growing in your leadership knowledge, you get to help foster growth in your team.(While being trained, you get to train. That is, in-and-of-itself a reward imo). You gain knowledge on the business itself and how to positively influence it. Whatagames(if you go, then you know)

Cons

Once you're on Early Bird(overnights) there is no escaping unless it's dire. High stress and pressure. Often times, can be unnecessarily cut-throat. Benefits aren't that great(4 hours of sick pay gained monthly, one week paid vacation annually, health care plans are garbage)
