Pros

It's a good job for people just beging to work, help you get experience in a lot of areas. Trains very well and helps you grow.

Cons

Hard getting hours or higher pay, sometimes treat employees unfairly. Schedule is never the same , something new every week. Not much room to show what your build of.

Pros

Whataburger is an iconic brand, deeply faith & family based, with patriotic roots in the state of Texas. With food quality and fresh ingredients as a focus, they are leaders in the burger segment. Opportunities for advancement in the home office abound if you make clear to your leadership team what your goals and aspirations are. Much time, money and effort is being invested in scaling up the infrastructure to support growth.

Cons

The company seems to be in a transitional phase - from small regional niche player to large corporate structure - as growth has become a key business driver. Long time family members (i.e. employees) rarely make market competitive salaries, even when promoted. Yet those hired from outside the organization typically are paid market rates. This has led to an internal "brain drain" as many of those employees steeped in the company culture have left to seek compensation aligned with their level of talent and have been replaced by outsiders who don't bleed Orange.

Pros

It' s a very easy job, depending on what you do. If you're deciding to work here as your first job, I'd Highly Recommend it. If you've had other job experience, this isn't the place for you.

Cons

Long hours on the weekend Overworking for Little Pay
