Pros

Because I know my job well, I know what's expected of me and feel comfortable in my position. My immediate co-workers and I get along well, and we really do work well as a team, supporting each other, and working together so that we can do our jobs well.

Cons

The company cares more about the needs of the clients, rather than the needs of the employees, the very people who are making the company run smoothly. The company is slow to adapt to the changing times in which we live. There is no life/work balance. If you work part-time, you don't get health insurance. If you work full-time, you have to come into the office 5 days a week minimum. They don't offer the opportunity to work from home (many of the jobs could be done at home), or even flex-time, working perhaps four 10 hour days. As a result, you have no time to take care of things in your own life. You run all your errands on the weekends, and return to work on Monday burnt out, and then have to start all over again. They company wants us to stay healthy, so why not have a fitness center onsite? Many people have kids and could really benefit from an onsite daycare service. The salaries are not great considering the amount of work that we do, as well as the high cost of living. If changes were made in these important areas, the employees would be much happier, feel more appreciated, and would be happy to stick around longer and promote the company. It's hard to find jobs in IL so people stick around here and find themselves stuck with no way out, unless they move out of state.
