Pros

Easy hours, 8AM-5PM. No real limit on overtime and in the warehouse, you'll get plenty of it. The Career Development Program is not difficult, and I think it does help in management development. Sales is the way to go with this company; our top Salespeople make more than neurosurgeons annually. Possible to make a career for those without degrees.

Cons

Poor management, zero developmental support, no adherence to policy, poor management presence (walks in ~8AM, leaves at 12PM), too much delegation (management is obsolete at this point), HEAVY favoritism and nepotism. The pay is barely above the minimum requirement and the raises are incremental.

Pros

will find helpful and hardworking co-workers, always busy

Cons

branch managers don't value the program, will find yourself working in a warehouse for 6 months questioning how is this actually helping you? company morale is very low, have to be "open for relocation" which translates to "be ready to move". There's no legitimate timetable on the completion of this program - you're basically just an extra body to fill in at the branch. No training for a future position. Branch manager could have you deliver orders for a month straight, sweep the entire warehouse for hours, or clean the parking lot and if you even slightly question their tactics you'll be disciplined. Overall, not worth the time and effort invested - the program is dramatically different from how its presented in the interview.
