Great atmosphere, great resources! It is a small enough community that a good amount of science exchange can happen among the labs.

Not really any except that it is in cold Boston

Pros

Good benefits and a great work culture. If you are passionate about science this is a great place to work.

Cons

Not the highest paying place but still a great way to get experience.

Pros

Smaller size, and separate administration from MIT keeps the red-tape to a minimum. Staff are excellent, and help researchers get on with their research, rather than provide roadblocks.

Cons

Because the average labs size are very large. Each tends to keep to itself and are somewhat insular, for example all sitting at lunch together. Little encouragement to talk and interact with other lab members.
