Pros

The company is privately held, so the stakeholders are the employees only. With billions of dollars in the bank, the company is very financially sound.

Cons

There is zero communication between employees. Decisions are made by the higher ups and not shared with the team, no one is ever on the same page. There is also no HR department, if you need help with anything you're on your own.

Pros

Plenty of oppurtunity for growth - they give you the oppurtunity to bite off as much as you can chew. Raises and promotions follow. Working on the jobsite - and within your group - one truly experiences a small business feel. Also, there is plenty of job security, especially if you're willing to travel.

Cons

Paying subs can be a pain due to Whiting-Turner's size - and the bureaucracy that follows. Subs can get very nasty if not paid in a timely fashion.
