Pros
I really enjoyed working at Whiting-Turner for my summer internship. I worked on a job site the entire time so you develop a more personal relationship with the other employees who are in the trailer with you all day. I really enjoyed being mentored by both the assistant project manager and the super each giving different perspectives. Senior leadership support was also nice, and everyone was always extremely open to answer any of my questions.
Cons
I would sometimes lack meaningful work to do on a daily basis. This is partly due to the fact that they had just hired someone as a full time employee a week before I arrived so I don't expect that to be a problem for most people. The assistant project manager felt that I wanted to do more so he did make the best effort to alleviate that problem.
