Pros

Awesome Co-workers. Interesting exhibitions. As an employee we got to attend curator led tours.

Cons

Shifts were short sometimes only 4-6 hours long and you can still be scheduled 4 to 5 days a week which makes it hard to balance another job or work life balance. Shift schedule was not given to employees far enough in advance.

Too Much Departmental Overlap

Pros

Great co-workers, excellent programming throughout the museum, and you couldn't possibly have a nicer, more interested Director.

Cons

Compensation is not competitive. Internal budgeting is perilously thrifty. Inter-departmental relationships and expected duties are inconsistent
