Pros

- Small but mighty crew that is rapidly growing; you get the chance to work closely with and learn from an inspiring team full of (but not limited to) cell & molecular biology scientists, biomedical engineers, & process development specialists - The growth opportunities are unique & real. Management truly cares about professional development, and makes active steps to support your journey here - The mission and impact is incalculable. Being on the frontier of cell-cultivated food is exciting, and you will definitely see your work make a direct difference

Cons

Just like many startups at our stage, we're rapidly scaling and it comes with a new set of challenges. The scope of our mission requires a lot of creative thinking , collaboration, & dedication; you can expect the work to reflect this!

Pros

Really hardworking folks. Completely obsessed with making cellular agriculture a reality. Every member of the R&D team is consumed with hacking this problem. New ideas and critical thinking are infectious in the company. Wonderfully open debate culture where people grow into rock star scientists. Work hard, but also play hard. Expectation of mandatory fun with rest of company. Darts, ping pong, caption contests, raves, axe throwing, costume wearing, talking like a pirate day-ing, Dogpatch Saloon-ing - Mandatory here at Wildtype.

Cons

Did I mention lots of work? If you are not passionate about giving your all to solving really complex problems facing the world, this is not the job for you.
