Pros

The work at Wiley is important to advancing scientific knowledge and the people are fantastic to work with.

Cons

There is little opportunity for advancement at present, the work can be monotonous, and the yearly salary increases to do not reflect inflation or local cost of living.

Pros

Wiley offers great benefits and there are many wonderful people to work with.

Cons

They do a lot of layoffs and outsource a lot of work to India. That is the reason I no longer work there. My position was considered "redundant" and they outsourced to another country. There is no job security.

Pros

They care about their employees. Half day Fridays in the summer. LGBTQ+ friendly.

Cons

Nothing about a position stays steady long enough to know if it actually works. If the finances aren't where they're expected, there will be changes, even if the last change was only 6 months ago.
