Pros

Good benefits (and - it must be admitted - generous severance benefits as well) and great colleagues who love what they do.

Cons

Undergoing massive changes and the environment is one of instability and confusion. Many people have been laid off and more have left due to the instability. The central values are changing.

Pros

Good benefits and good life/work balance. Flexibility for families.

Cons

Too much disorganization in restructuring departments. There were many layoffs and there are more to come. They are a large company and slow to make changes.

Pros

Coworkers Benefits are/were okay That's about it.

Cons

Overworked with unrealistic expectations. I left before they outsourced my department to India. So much for being proud of being the oldest publishing company in AMERICA. Enjoy that pile of money Peter Wiley!
