Pros

Overall, Wiley is a great place to work. The people are excellent and the PTO policy is very generous.

Cons

It's tough to get raises and promotions and certain divisions are not doing well--not unexpected in this economy, but unsettling nonetheless. Wiley is not immune to taking layoffs. It's a public company, so can at times can be challenging to balance setting yearly goals that are ambitious with the need for short-term declines to see long-term growth.

Pros

People you work with day-to-day are great Good work-life balance Mission-driven Benefits are good

Cons

Upper Management is easily the worst part of the company. Leadership is actively biased and they are incredibly arrogant and suppress data from rest of company. Terrible company culture where marginalized communities get retaliated against.

Pros

Corporate was very focused on supporting the health & well being of employees. Flexible RTW policy,

Cons

It was difficult to introduce and establish best practice Agile Product marketing process. The company has not come to terms with their stated path of offering a digital product. They continue to rely on pen & paper thought processes.
