Pros

Global company. Looking to reinvent itself to mostly digital content offerings vs. old-school book publishing. Friendly, collaborative environment. Good life/work balance.

Cons

Recent reorganization led to significant layoffs, budget cuts and divestment of their consumer properties. Low pay.

Pros

The people are great, the product is great. They recognize good employees and you can earn your spot if you work towards your goals.

Cons

The "For Dummies" series is a money maker, but it feels slightly embarrassing to have them be the marque product. And Hoboken.
