Pros

If you already like IT audit and have experience with FISMA/FISCAM, then Williams Adley will treat you well if you work hard. Small team environment is very friendly. Can move up quickly if committed to the work.

Cons

Will hire you out of college and throw you in the fire with no effective training. Expectations are super high and there is not much support. Teamwork doesn't mean collaboration, it just means doing your share of the work. Managers/Senior Associates say they want to help you learn but also tell you not to waste their time.

Pros

- The firm has a remote first policy which means that they are not averse to hiring for remote positions unlike many companies and they are very adapt in a remote environment. - Some of the friendlies yet extremely professional team members I have ever worked with. There are so many great role models to look to for advise and career progression. - Best health benefits I have had so far including coverage and low cost. Better than my previous top 10 firm I worked for. - The firm is large enough to have all the resources you need, however, it is not so large that I feel lost in the crowd. I can make a meaningful contribution.

Cons

- For those coming from a larger firm, the audit software is a bit old and clunky but still does the job.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave this great review! It's fantastic to know that you enjoy working with everyone on the team, as building strong relationships and promoting teamwork are fundamental to our success. As a remote-first company, we pride ourselves on providing employees the ability to work where they’re most productive. To enhance connection and collaboration, employees in the D.C. metro area also visit the office from time to time for in-person meetings and events. We find this mixture to be helpful in accommodating to different the needs and preferences of our employees. The leadership team works hard to ensure we provide a competitive benefits package to our employees. Thank you for sharing the offerings that resonate most with you. We've made recent enhancements to our benefits package and we're hopeful they further support your overall wellbeing. In summary, we’re glad to hear that we have been able to exceed your expectations. Thank you for being a valuable member of our team and for sharing your insights on Glassdoor!
